OUR MISSION
East Market Films strives to address the lack of support for emerging black filmmakers by helping them develop and produce their short and feature films.
EMF vets and contracts local talent and crew to work on film projects we produce, consult, and support. We also work with local businesses for shooting locations, catering services, and healthcare services for productions.
We inform local businesses on registering their location and services with the NC Film Office for when major studio productions come into town.
EMF partners with industry leaders and even manufacturers to support our filmmaking efforts in our community.
